Our Missions
The believers at Skillman are continually seeking to become a missional people. We know that the life-learning skills and comfort we gain from our faith are meant to be shared with others, and we know we have a lot to learn from those we encounter.
Because we believe strongly in our common mission on this earth, we also seek to support those whose work complements our own.
Currently, Skillman supports the following mission works:
Missions Committee
The Missions Committee is set up to review requests for missionary support; determine where to spend church resources and what amounts. In part, they work to allocate the portion of the Moeller Fund monies assigned to missions each year.

World Bible School
World Bible School is a program designed to teach the Bible to people around the world through correspondence courses. Lessons and supporting materials are sent to a student who studies the lesion, answers the assigned questions, and sends responses back to his/her Study Helper. The Study Helper grades the answers, sends a certificate of completion, and sends the next lesson. Contact with the same Study Helper is long-term. The Study Helper stays in contact through form letters and personal notes and pays special attention to any question or special request (Bibles, sermon tapes, baptism) the student has.
