Bob Thomas, Deacon

Bob Thomas was born in a small Pennsylvania town in 1941, spent his high school years in Centerville, Iowa, and graduated from the University of Missouri. Following seven years in the US Air Force he moved to Dallas where he sold mainframe computer systems for several companies including Sperry Univac.

Shortly after moving to Dallas a mutual friend introduced Bob and Martha and they were married seven months later. Today they have four married children (Denise, Missy, Rob, and Blair) and ten grandchildren (with one more due in December 2006).

In 1981 Bob and Martha launched their first computer-related magazine that was targeted to users of Sperry Univac computer systems. Today, Bob is still publishing computer magazines.

 Bob says that his richest blessings have been; meeting Martha and marrying into such a wonderful Christian family (her parents were Floyd and Peggy Wooldridge), that their children and their spouses are all devoted followers of Jesus Christ, and their fantastic grandkids.
