Ken Henry, Elder
Ken Henry began life in Galveston, Texas but has lived in Dallas for 51 years. He met his wife of 34 years, Linda, at Abilene Christian University. They have two children, Alyson and Kenny, a daughter-in-law Libby, and a first grandchild on the way, whose arrival they prayerfully anticipate in September.
Ken works for the Imagecare Dental Group in Plano. For leisure he enjoys golf, snow skiing, bicycling, fly fishing and hunting. Ken and Linda are favorite teachers on Sunday morning of the Skillman 3rd and 4th graders. Both the Henrys come from a rich background of preachers and teachers of God’s word. Ken’s grandfather was a missionary in Japan for 50 years, decorated twice by the Emperor of Japan for his humanitarian services. Linda’s father was a lay preacher, establishing several Dallas churches.
Ken’s prayer for Skillman is that we will be a group of true seekers and followers of Jesus, that we will honor God in our decisions, that we will be heartfelt in our worship, and that our preaching and ministry will be reflective of and based upon the inerrancy of the Holy Bible.
