Dan Hardgrave , Deacon

Dan Hardgrave was born San Saba, Texas. He was raised on a ranch near Goldthwaite, Texas, where he lived for the first 18 years.  He attended Abilene Christian University where he met Dallas native Julie Holsapple.  The two were married in 1972.

Both Dan and Julie were raised in the Church of Christ. Dan at Goldthwaite and Julie at the Trinity Height’s Church (Oak Cliff). 

They have 4 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, and 4 grandchildren (Lane, Andrea, Audrey - Wylie, Texas), (Reed, Sonya, Logan, Caden & Ellie - McPherson, Kansas) (Blake - Texas A&M - graduates in Dec. '06) (Drew - Ole Miss - graduates May '07).

Both Julie and Dan work at her family business, Holsapple Engraving. Julie also has a calligraphy business.  They have been at Skillman since 1989 and have been in Lake Highlands since 1976. 

Dan enjoys cooking, watching sporting events, hunting/fishing, and playing golf. Julie loves to quilt, read and collect antiques.
