Doug Duckworth, Deacon

Doug Duckworth was born in Dallas, TX. He attended W.T. White High School and went to ACC (not ACU).  He met Debbi his freshman year.  They became best friends and have not been able to get rid of each other since. They have been married for 35 years and have 3 kids and 1 grandson, 1 daughter in-law and 1 son-law. He works for Pockets Menswear in Highland Park Village and is starting his 29th year. Doug gets to travel and does the buying.  He then goes and works in the store trying to sell the items.

He enjoys getting to help with the 4th grade Sunday School class.  They sometimes ask questions that are challenging to answer and can be very rewarding when answered.   He also enjoys helping with Grace Cafe (washing duty).  He says it is fun to see people having a good time and enjoys being at church.
