Blaine Armstrong, Facility Manager

Blaine Armstrong is Skillman’s Facility Manager.  He came to Skillman after a 30+ year career in telecommunications.  His job assignments with Southwestern Bell were in engineering, project management and procurement.  He and his wife, Susie, have two daughters, Kenda Zink and Kayla Cansler, and four grandchildren, Winston, Reuben and Adelaide Zink; and Myra Cansler. Susie is employed at DISD and joins a long list of educators in the Armstrong household. 

Blaine enjoys his family, yard work, and sports, mainly Oklahoma State University sporting events and he really likes winning an NCAA championship in anything!  He likes to vacation in Colorado and sit on a porch or “hang-out at the cabin” with Eddie while Susie and Ann shop.   His favorite organization is SWANS because he likes everything made and served on those Monday nights.
